The Point: As churches and individuals we must endure!
1. The Figurehead
Revelation 3:14 (ESV)-“And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: ‘The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God's creation.

A. Complacency
Revelation 3:15 (ESV)-“‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot!”
B. Pride
Revelation 3:17a (ESV)-“For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing,”
C. Blindness
Revelation 3:17 (ESV)-For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.”
4. The Fuel
A. Return
Revelation 3:18 (ESV)-“I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.”
John 15:15 (ESV) “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”
B. Repent
Revelation 3:19 (ESV)-“Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.”
C. Respond
Revelation 3:20 (ESV)-“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.”
D. Reward
Revelation 3:21 (ESV)-“The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.”
Never be complacent in your relationship with Jesus.
Never trust in yourself completely.
Here Is The Point: As churches and individuals we must be dependent upon Him!
