Sermon Title: “HANNAH ROSE”

Text: 1 Samuel 1:9-20 & 26-28

Samuel stands with a small handful of

the greatest leaders in the entire Old Testament.

The short list should probably be

Abraham, Moses, Samuel and David.

Samuel was:

“The Priest of Israel”

The last and greatest of the Judges

One of the earliest of the Prophets

The anointer of kings

Leader of one of the greatest national transitions in history

Hannah was his mother.

She dedicated him to God and set him on the path

that took Israel from Ichabod to Ebenezer.

Hannah is a special mother

and a great role model for us all

for at least two huge reasons:

1. Hannah had a deeply personal walk with God.
2. Hannah had a passion to be able to give back to God.

We need mothers like Hannah!

But we all ought to be like Hannah!

When we walk with God like she did

we will understand that we give to God best

by investing in those God brings into our lives.
