Miraculous Faith

1. Faith is Difficult
Matthew Zamudio, Pastor, Windsor Park Baptist Church, Desoto Tx. March 19, 2017. All scriptures are printed verbatim with translations noted. Pew Bible: Page 995.

Mark 5:22-23 (ESV)-“Then came one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name, and seeing him, he fell at his feet and implored him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well and live.”

Mark 5:25-26 (ESV)-And there was a woman who had had a discharge of blood for twelve years, and who had suffered much under many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was no better but rather grew worse.

2. Faith is Desperate
Mark 5:23 (ESV)- and implored him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well and live.”

Mark 5:25-26 (ESV)-And there was a woman who had had a discharge of blood for twelve years, and who had suffered much under many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was no better but rather grew worse.

3. Faith is Directed
Mark 5:27 (ESV)-She had heard the reports about Jesus and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his garment.
4. Faith is Determined
Mark 5:28 (ESV)-For she said, “If I touch even his garments, I will be made well.

5. Faith Requires Dependence
Mark 5:36 (ESV)- But overhearing what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not fear, only believe.”

Hebrews 11:1 (ESV)-Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

6. Faith Does Not Disappoint
Mark 5:29 (ESV)-And immediately the flow of blood dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease.

Mark 5:42 (ESV)- And immediately the girl got up and began walking (for she was twelve years of age), and they were immediately overcome with amazement.

Hebrews 11:39-40 (ESV)- And all these things, though commended for their faith, did not receive what was promised, since God had provided better for us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect.

7. Faith Will Dumbfound
Mark 5:42 (ESV)- And immediately the girl got up and began walking (for she was twelve years of age), and they were immediately overcome with amazement.
Put your faith in Christ alone.
Expect God to do the supernatural.
Look for “Wow” moments in your life.

Here Is The Point: God can still do the miraculous! Do we believe this?
